Data Deletion
At YoApp, we value your privacy and provide you with full control over your data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
In-App Method
1. Open YoApp
2. Go to Profile > Settings
3. Select "Account"
4. Tap "Delete Account"
5. Follow the confirmation steps
Email Method
Send an email to support@yoappng.com from your registered email address with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
What Data is Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following information is permanently removed from our active databases:
- Your profile information (name, bio, profile picture).
- Your messages and chat history.
- Media files (photos, videos, voice notes) you have uploaded.
- Your wallet balance and transaction history (archived for legal compliance only).
- Social connections and followings.
Retention Period
Most data is deleted immediately upon confirmation. However, for security and fraud prevention purposes, some metadata may be retained in our backups for up to 30 days before being completely purged. Financial records are retained as required by local laws and regulations.
Note: Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. All your earned coins and wallet balance will be forfeited unless withdrawn prior to deletion.
